Ebersberg lies about 30 kilometers east of Munich, 558 meters above sea level. The city is embedded into an especially charming site of the bavarian foothills of the Alps, that was shaped by glacial end moraines. It lies at the edge of Ebersberg Forest – Germany's largest single remaining piece of wooded area.

Right on our very doorstep is the nature reserve "Egglburger See", which houses the chain of ponds created by the monks and small lakes of the protected landscape Ebrachtal.

Ebersberg offers plenty of possibilities for walking, biking and other recreational activities.
